No Thank You!
You can never be fully productive if you take on too many commitments. We are constantly getting bombarded with calls, instant messages, emails requesting our time. This is how we spread ourselves so thin and we end up with lot’s of busy work and obligation versus our life’s work.
Saying No helps you establish healthy boundaries and enables others to understand what they can expect from you.
To live with intention you must stop giving your agenda, your time, your energy, your effort, to things you are not passionate about.
If it doesn't align with your purpose, brings you to life, or develops you, then it's a HARD NO.
Period.
Saying yes to others people agenda fills our calendar with obligation.
It's either NO, which should be used often or HELL YES!
If it's not a HELL YES, then it must be a HARD NO.
This is how you preserve your energy and stay in alignment with your purpose.
I’m as proud of many of the things we haven’t done as the things we have done. Innovation is saying no to a thousand things. -Steve Jobs
